Welcome to Hidden Haven's Yorkies in beautiful East Tennessee!
We are located in East Tennessee in Rutledge, Grainger County. We started as pet owners and loved our beloved Yorkshire Terriers so much that we decided to extend that love of these "special" little dogs to others.
We have Two AKC dams and one AKC sire at this time that are our parents and beloved pets and we will have One AKC dam which will be introduced to our parent line in the near future. We only have a couple of litters a year so please check back for availability.
Some of Our Dams and Sires have Championship Bloodlines in their 5 Generation Pedigree such as CH Rothby’s Reputation, CH Stardust Blueprint Of Love, CH TLC’s Temptation N’ Influence, and CH Tru-Luv’s Sprig Of Holly.
We raise ONLY Healthy, Happy, Standard sized Yorkie babies. They may range from 4-7 lbs. We do not sell or breed "Tea Cup Yorkies". There is no such thing as a "Tea Cup Yorkie" according to the American Kennel Club, (www.akc.org). This is another word for breeding small and can result in unhealthy puppies with genetic problems.
All our adults and babies are fed a Holistic Diet of All Natural, Organic Foods such as Merrick Premium Dog Foodand Merrick's All Natural Dog Treats and Can Foods. The Merrick premium , all natural dog products are for all stages of life. You do not need to buy a puppy and then switch to a adult version later. We take extreme care in providing the best possible nutrition from Baby hood to Adult Hood. These Premium Foods are All Natural , No Preservatives, No Colors and No Grain Fillers. They are easily digestible, less waist and better for your Yorkshire Terriers.
My Yorkshire Terriers have less eye matter and gorgeous shiny healthy coats since I only feed them a Holistic Premium Diet. We believe in the quote “A good man is concerned for the welfare of his animals.”
These little dogs are very energetic, clever and loyal and affectionate to their owners, but sometimes suspicious of strangers. They do best with older children due to the fragility of the breed. They can be aggressive to strange dogs and small animals.
They are oblivious to their small size and are eager for adventure and very smart.
They may not be suitable for everyone and don't take being left hours alone by themselves. They are highly prone to separation anxiety and stress. They love traveling and are the most happiest being with their owners. They provide so much love and admiration to their owners.
We at Hidden Haven's Yorkies try to find a loving family that can provide the environment , time and love that these babies so deserve. We pre-screen all of our potential adopted families so that both our Yorkie baby and the family are both happy and well suited for each other.
When accepted we ask for a non-refundable deposit of $200.00 to put a hold on the puppy and the remainder of the balance is due payable upon puppy pick up. We do not have a waiting list for puppies..But we will be happy to contact you via email upon availability of our new arrivals. Please fill out form on our contact page.
All of our puppies will have two sets of vaccinations with records, de-wormed, tails cropped and dew claws removed , Vet Health Checked and Limited AKC registration papers. (Non Breeding Rights). Original AKC Registration will be mailed to Owner of Puppy upon completion of puppy's Spay or Neuter from a Licensed Veterinarian and proof of procedure.
We want to make sure that NONE of our Special Loved and Raised Puppies Do not end up in Puppy Mills. We DO NOT sell to Pet Stores Nor Puppy Mills!
Our motto is "High Quality, and not Quantity" and we only produce one litter at a given time a couple of times a year ...so that we can provide all of the care, nurturing, love and attention that each of these babies needs which we raise to become great little additions to their forever homes with their new families.
We send all of our puppies to their new homes with a Puppy Kit, A 1-2 lbs bag of "Premium Merrick Dry Dog Food", How to care for your Yorkie baby Care sheets and a Tube of Nutri-Cal and A Gift Bag full of Puppy Goodies. All of our puppies are also sent home in their special outfit for the day their adopted parents pick them up.
Our Yorkie babies are ready to leave to their new homes when they are between 12 and 16 weeks old and have had their second set of vaccinations and final health check from our veterinarian.
We DO NOT SHIP any of our Yorkie babies..They are highly acceptable to stress. We may meet half way for delivery depending on destination. Prior arrangements need to be made first.
